Ahhh, where to start? I loved this wedding. Greenmantle Estate Lodge is beautiful and it was great to shoot somewhere new. Somewhere you can get married in a huge nikau palm tree forest behind the house, wander down to the front lawn for cocktails with your guests, and then follow the cute white ducks to a magical, secluded garden just metres away from the party. Not having to go far at all for a variety of great photo locations really added to the relaxed feel of the day, but most of the credit for that vibe went to the lovely Ang and Matt themselves. You guys rock.
P.S. Check out the caricature sketches that Ang and Matt used both for the guest book and as placeholders on the tables! I haven’t seen that before and thought it was both a fun and impressive way to show people where to sit, and also a cool memento for the guests to take home with them.
